Check the steps that could have gone wrong.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#1: Order and Communication<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did they order something other than what they wanted?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Was the order processed correctly?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does it match the quote that the client received?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#2: Client\u2019s File<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Was the issue in the client\u2019s original file?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did the client<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0setup their file correctly?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did they supply a file with <\/span><a href=\"\/printersuccess\/5-dangerous-file-issues-that-impact-print-results-how-to-avoid-them\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">issues that impact the print result<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#3: Prepress<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Were there any mistakes during preflighting process?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What sort of changes did the file undergo before it was sent to print (including RIP)?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How was the file imposed?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#4: Production<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Were there any mistakes during each part of the production process?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did any of the steps of production get missed?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are all pieces of equipment functioning correctly?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#5: Packing and Shipping<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How was the order packed and shipped?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Were there any mistakes during the packing or shipped process?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did the order get damaged during packing or shipping?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, if any part of the process involved third parties, check whether they contributed to the issue as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Decide on the verdict.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have a few options depending on who was responsibility for the issue.
